Final Roll

Final Roll transforms the classic Shut the Box game into a study of contrasting wood, precise joinery, and functional craftsmanship. Solid walnut, solid ambrosia maple, and solid bookmatched birdseye maple bring distinct color and figure to the design, allowing each wood to contribute its own character within a unified composition.

The primary box, fitted interior box, and lid are constructed with box joints, creating a visible rhythm while providing lasting strength. Solid brass hinges complement the warm wood tones, and an Elixir Wax Wood Butter finish leaves the grain natural and inviting. Final Roll was created to be handled, played, and enjoyed.
